REMOTE SYSTEM - video diptych for the Double Life project

Double Life is a video series made up of several diptychs focused on the various ways in which artists manage – or not, as the case may be – to reconcile juggling their ‘day jobs’ and their art proper.

Olga Kisseleva’s Double Life, a project started in 2007, is based for the most part on co-operation. In each participating city, local artists are asked to contribute their own films. So far, the project has been rolled out in Paris, Montreal, Moscow, New Delhi, Bucharest and Madrid, with 15 film diptychs realised. Kisseleva has recently brought her project to Kraków.

The work made in Kraków premiered at MOCAK on 6 December 2013, and will travel the world as an integral part of the project.
